The book was adapted for the stage in 2009 by the National Theatre of Great Britain\, translating its rhythmic language\, recognizable characters\, and visual imagination into live theater. \nThis performance follows the book’s familiar story as the Cat turns the house upside down with the help of Thing One and Thing Two. Before the children’s mother returns\, the Cat deploys the red Picker-Up Machine to put everything back in place. The stage adaptation combines physical comedy\, theatrical surprises\, and inventive design while preserving the playful tension between disorder and responsibility at the heart of the original story. \nThis performance is suitable for ages 3 and up.
