In recognition of her remarkable career\, Harris was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008 and earned a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award in 2018.  Wheeler Associates and the Wheeler Opera House present Emmylou Harris for a one-night-only concert in our historic venue\, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1984 Grand Re-opening of the Wheeler. \nHarris is known as much for her eloquently straightforward songwriting as for her incomparably expressive singing. Adonis thrives on the growth and acclaim for his original sonero sound. As he puts it\, “I feel like a messenger of my roots and tradition\, blessed that with me I have taken my music and heritage to many different places in the world; from Cuba\, to Canada\, USA\, Mexico\, Europe and Asia. My mission is to make you dance and enjoy my melodies and rhythms.” \nGet ready to dance! For this event\, we’ve created a dance floor in the front orchestra\, open to all attendees. Please note that the energy on the dance floor may impact sightlines for the first few rows of orchestra seating.
