Lulo\, a name associated with World Music and his patented Latin Swing\, is a guitar virtuoso with unmistakable roots. He was born in Koblenz\, Germany on December 10\, 1961 and comes from the famous Reinhardt family. Lulo was raised in the Sinti tradition where Django Reinhardt’s music played a massive part. \nA Sinto and a cosmopolitan\, Lulo Reinhardt continuously embraces the new and the unknown in his dreams\, ideas and plans\, so we can expect many exciting projects in the future. \n \n  \nYoung British guitarist Alexandra Whittingham trained classically for twelve years before releasing her debut album My European Journey in 2021. The album focuses on 19th-century European repertoire. Her passion for 19th-century music combined with a love of discovering lesser-known composers and bringing them into the spotlight. Staple works by Napoléon Coste\, Giulio Regondi\, and Luigi Legnani give a warm Romantic embrace to a clutch of unheard miniatures – brimming with character and local color from Vienna\, London\, Copenhagen\, and beyond. \nCloser to home Alexandra has performed at London’s Abbey Road Studios\, County Hall\, Milton Court Concert Hall\, the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester and Wells Cathedral. She has also appeared as a concerto soloist with Gorton Philharmonic Orchestra\, Dorset Chamber Orchestra and Orquestra Vigo 430 with whom she performed three concerts in Spain in 2021. She is delighted to be an Augustine Strings artist\, using their Regal Blue range\, and plays a 2011 Christopher Dean guitar. \n \n  \nNiwel Tsumbu​ is a guitarist and singer who grew up with the hip-swinging Soukous music from the Democratic Republic Of The Congo. Strongly influenced by guitarists such as Paco de Lucia\, Luambo Makiadi\, Baden Powell and Joe Pass\, Niwel Tsumbu has amalgamated these different styles and blurred the boundaries of African\, Classical and Jazz music with his amazing virtuosity\, passion and graceful guitar playing. \nNiwel Tsumbu is a virtuosic Congolese-born\, Ireland-based guitarist. He has created a unique and exhilarating style drawing on influences as diverse as jazz\,

The performances will be judged by local musicians Josefina Mendez\, Peach Street Revival Jordan Will\, and surprise guest judge. The evening will include performances by Aspen Rocks 2024 winners Lana Bella and Tristan Trincado. \nPrizes: \n\n1st Place…Complete\, two-day recording and production session. Record your song and have it mixed in a world-class recording studio with guidance from experienced engineers and producers. (Value $1\,200+).\n\nOur three judges: Josefina Mendez started studying music and training her voice at an early age in her home town of Buenos Aires Argentina. Even though her voice lessons were Italian Opera\, her passion and practice was jazz. At the age of 18 she was the youngest person to perform with the Argentine National Jazz Orchestra. She moved to the U.S. 21 years ago and has been performing in the Roaring Fork Valley. The music performed by Josefina combines rhythms\, melodies\, and different performance traditions that surpass the boundaries between language and culture. Jordan Will is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist turned rock-and-roller. She is known for her dynamic live performances across genres from jazz to punk. A passionate performer from a young age\, she mastered multiple instruments\, often challenging traditional gender norms in music. She studied music business at Colorado Mesa University as a percussion major. Jordan now plays bass and keys in Grand Junction-based band Peach Street Revival\, which currently tours nationally and frequents major events like the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and renown Colorado-based festivals. He’s taken the stage at top clubs like The Comedy Store\, The Improv\, and Cosmic Comedy in Germany. David has opened for Taylor Tomlinson\, Moshe Kasher\, and Trevor Wallace\, performed at SLO Comedy Fest\, and was runner-up in the Aspen Laughs Fest Comedy Competition. His TV credits include ESPN3\, Lego.com\, and an indie film he can’t quite remember.

DESCRIPTION:Raised in the Rockies and now both living in the shadow of Sopris\, The Sopris Sisters bring a fresh folk sound and heart-opening harmonies. Since their recent debut as a duo\, singer-songwriters Harper Powell and Emma Kieran have played at Steve’s Guitars\, on KDNK community radio\, and other local venues. The two draw inspiration from artists such as Sarah Jarosz\, Shawn Colvin\, Aiofe O’Donovan\, Nanci Griffith\, and Anaïs Mitchell. Harper and Emma met nearly 10 years ago while participating in eTown’s Handmade Songs competition for Colorado high school singer-songwriters\, and over the pandemic\, they co-founded a virtual benefit concert series called Tabletop Concerts. \n \nRai Omri is a Western Colorado-based songwriter inspired by dreams\, stories\, old melodies\, ambient sound\, and the natural world. In 2023\, she was named a finalist in Kerrville Folk Festival’s Grassy Hill New Folk Competition\, and in 2024\, a finalist in the NewSong Music Songwriting Competition. After a successful crowdfunding campaign\, she is currently recording her first EP.

DESCRIPTION:Dan Sheridan is an award-winning singer-songwriter based in Aspen\, Colorado. His song Big Money explores the impact of wealth on resort towns\, while other tracks have appeared on Ally McBeal\, Ed\, and MTV. \nValley Roses is the stage name of singer-songwriter Les DeRose\, an acoustic guitar/ukulele player whose music blends heartfelt lyrics and melodies with enchanting vocals and string arrangements. The project began in 2018 in Cape May\, NJ\, as a collaboration with violinist and producer Valerie Vuolo. The duo performed live and recorded original music until 2021 when their lives took them to Colorado and California respectively. \n

The Aspen Native has played gigs internationally in Japan and Australia. Synchronistic events linked him up with JR in Sedona\, back up guitarist and musician for Lynyrd Skynyrd. His travels and music has allowed him to play on stages in Japan and Australia as well. Lately\, he’s been residing back in Aspen\, most recently continuing on with his late band Angelico. Aspen continues to be the palette for his creative works. \n

DESCRIPTION:Patio Night Live was born of the pandemic in the spring of 2020. With few outlets to perform Miller Ford and Beth Brandon teamed up to do stand up comedy from Beth’s front porch. \nBeth Brandon is a founding member of Patio Night Live and has been performing and producing stand up comedy near and far since 2006. She’s a local columnist for the Aspen Daily News and is Second City educated. \nMiller Ford is a founding member of Patio Night Live and Consensual Improv. Miller is a staple in the RFV comedy scene. He has toured with Warren Miller productions as an emcee. He has made an appearance on the popular comedy Podcast Kill Tony. He also hosts events all over the Roaring Fork Valley for various non-profits. \nGarrett Hall is a local comedian by way of Las Vegas. As a southerner and 10 year US Air Force veteran\, Garrett has a unique perspective on life and the world around him. His comedy is introspective and relatable\, yet unpredictable. Garrett can be seen on CMT\, VetTV and Viceland as well as in comedy clubs all over the country. \nMichael Coyle is a comedian based in the Roaring Fork Valley\, known for his edgy misdirection\, sharp wit\, charming flair\, and knack for surprising punchlines. He has been seen at venues across  Colorado including the Comedy Works in Denver and the was winner of the 2024 comedy competition. \nZoë Rom is a writer\, journalist and elite ultrarunner from Carbondale\, CO. Her comedy has been featured around the Roaring Fork Valley and at the Rise Comedy Festival\, and she performs with Consensual Improv. She currently hosts the Your Diet Sucks podcast. Zoë likes expensive coffee and cheap whiskey.

This intimate event marks the culmination of a two-day songwriting workshop with Inspire Aspen’s students\, where they have had the opportunity to collaborate\, create\, and refine their original songs. During the performance\, the students will not only showcase their work but also share the stories and inspirations behind their songs\, providing a deeper connection to the music. Join us for an evening of creativity\, inspiration\, and the power of storytelling through song. \nColleen McKenna blends the heart of classic country with the soul of faith-driven storytelling. Originally from Ohio\, she moved to Nashville after high school and quickly made a name for herself\, hosting songwriter rounds at the Listening Room Cafe and penning lead singles for the Ryan Waters Band. At just 20\, her lyrics explore love\, heartbreak\, and hope with a voice far beyond her years. Her music spans both country and Christian genres\, with viral hits like “WWJD” and original worship songs such as “Revival” and “Reason to Trust.” With two independent country projects—Rewind and Broken Record—and performances across the U.S.\, Mexico\, and Italy\, McKenna continues to craft music that connects across stages\, sanctuaries\, and everywhere in between. \nTristan Trincado is quickly getting recognized for his old soul expressive vocals that sing straight to the heart. As senior at Basalt High School\, he captured the attention of the Inspire Aspen Foundation and emerged victorious in their prestigious\, Aspen Rocks\, in 2024. His debut original song\, “Sinner\,” is now available on all music platforms and is featured on the @gibsonguitar playlist\, where he has been proudly named the CEO’s favorite new artist. \nGracie Searle-Feinberg has a unique singer/songwriter style and her catchy lyrics will make you forget she’s a senior at Aspen High School. Since the age of 9\, she has been writing her own music and performing on the streets of Aspen. Currently\, she is in the process of creating her debut album at Mad Dog Ranch+Studios\, working alongside the Inspire Aspen Foundation. Notably\, Gracie was a winner in their esteemed program\, Aspen Rocks\, in 2022. Proceeds from the event will benefit Inspire Aspen Foundation and go towards giving unique opportunities to student musicians in the Aspen Snowmass Roaring Fork Valley to pursue their talents and musical journeys. A consummate musician and a dynamic entertainer\, Calabria is a connoisseur of music\, from Classical to Broadway.  Ms. Foti’s recordings and live shows have been praised by such diverse artists as piano virtuoso Van Cliburn\, composer Johnny Mandel\, trumpeter Chris Botti\, and a host of other music and entertainment luminaries. Upon hearing her CD\, “A Lovely Way To Spend An Evening” (2007\, MoCo Records)\, legendary singer Johnny Mathis said\, “Listening to a beautiful voice is one of my greatest pleasures in life. Listening to this recording of Calabria Foti’s voice is some of the most beautiful and artistic music I have ever heard. She is a treasure. What a joy!” \nBorn into a family of musicians and music educators\, Calabria was exposed to classical\, jazz\, and popular music at a young age.
