FULL CIRCLE follows Trevor on a path toward post-traumatic growth in parallel with Barry\, 50 years later.  Their stories mirror each other\, connected through time and space by common locations and motifs; injuries in the Colorado backcountry\, rehab at Craig Hospital\, fame in Jackson Hole; but also through their shared resiliency and refusal to let their zeal for life be limited by their injuries.  Barry shows that growth after spinal cord injury is possible for everyone\, not just adaptive athletes.  And yet his legacy paves the way for Trevor’s superhuman feats.  Six years after his accident\, Trevor returns to the site of his accident in the Colorado backcountry with the goal of landing the world’s first double backflip on a sit-ski- the culmination of his own personal growth and reinvention.

Showtime is 5:30 pm both nights. \nEvery year\, Aspen Country Day School’s graduating Eighth Graders brainstorm together to create a concept for the annual musical. Guided by drama teacher Marci Sketch\, they write the script\, choose the songs\, cast the parts\, and work with younger grades to find just the right scene for each student’s personality. It is performed this year by children in Fourth through Eighth Grade. \nAspen Country Day School is an independent school enrolling 300+ students from throughout the Roaring Fork Valley in preschool through Eighth Grade. DESCRIPTION:Bone Hill – The Concert is a new musical work for theater created and developed by librettist/composers Martha Redbone and Aaron Whitby at Joe’s Pub and the Public Theater\, as part of the New York Voices artists’ initiative; Co-commissioned by the Lincoln Center David Rubinstein Atrium. Bone Hill is the recipient of the NEFA National Theater Project\, an NPN Creation and Touring grant and Redbone is a 2015 Native Arts and Cultures Foundation Fellow. Redbone and Bone Hill-The Concert are represented by SRO Artists\, Inc. \nBone Hill – The Concert adds diverse missing narratives– racial dynamics between Native and African Americans\, Native American\, and White\, stories from the perspective of the women and the lives of people of color living in Appalachia\, their culture\, and music. It reveals erased\, forgotten truths and it does so with humor\, pathos\, and exuberance. \nInspired by her own life and the women Martha Redbone is descended from\, the lives of the Bone family members are told in songs that span a swathe of American music telling a parallel history. An epic journey through traditional Cherokee chants and lullabies to bluegrass and blues\, country\, gospel\, jazz\, Rock & Roll\, Rhythm & Blues\, and funk. \n
