After honing his craft in Brooklyn, he now performs regularly in Nashville and has taken the stage at venues and festivals nationwide, including Carnegie Hall, The Bluebird Café, Mercury Lounge, Birdland Jazz Club, and Connecticut Folk Fest.

David has opened for Taylor Tomlinson, Moshe Kasher, and Trevor Wallace, performed at SLO Comedy Fest, and was runner-up in the Aspen Laughs Fest Comedy Competition.
