MANIA: The ABBA Tribute brings the sound, style, and stagecraft of ABBA to Wheeler Opera House in Aspen. Formed in 1999, the internationally touring production has played more than 3,000 concerts in over 35 countries and on every continent. Recent engagements include a return to London’s West End at the Shaftesbury Theatre and a 100-date sold-out U.S. national tour in 2023 and 2024.
Featuring live musicians and performers, MANIA draws on ABBA’s distinctive visual and musical legacy through choreography, period-inspired costumes, and a program of familiar songs. “Dancing Queen,” “Waterloo,” “Mamma Mia,” and “Take a Chance on Me” are among the selections presented in a theatrical concert setting.
The performance follows the 2024 celebration of the 50th anniversary of “Waterloo,” ABBA’s breakthrough single. At the Wheeler, the production offers an opportunity to experience the group’s widely recognized catalog through a tribute show with an extensive international touring history.
