Wheeler Presents Aspen Advance Look: 11 to Midnight
A sneak peek of the Off-Broadway-bound dance experience
The Wheeler Opera House is proud to present Aspen Advance Look: 11 to Midnight, a special preview of a genre-defying dance production from the visionary minds of Hideaway Circus and viral choreographers Cost n’ Mayor. This one-night-only event invites Aspen audiences to experience a work-in-progress showing of an ever-evolving production. 11 to Midnight blends dance, circus, and digital storytelling into a thrilling new theatrical experience, set to premiere off-Broadway in New York City this coming spring, and Aspen gets an advance look.
“There’s something so uniquely magical about that last hour of New Year’s Eve. It’s the one time all year when everyone—no matter their age or season of life—lets themselves imagine who they could become,” says Marideth Telenko of Cost n’ Mayor. “No one’s ever too young or too old to start over.”
Cost n’ Mayor—Austin and Marideth Telenko—are a creative duo with over 10 million followers across platforms, known for their perfectly synchronized choreography and viral performances. Their work spans campaigns for Apple, Disney, Lexus, and Royal Caribbean, and collaborations with artists like Pentatonix, Meghan Trainor, and Andy Grammer. Their recent stage credits include Waitress: The Musical (Ogunquit Playhouse, 2024) and Disney’s Phineas and Ferb.
Hideaway Circus, founded by Josh and Lyndsay Aviner, is a Brooklyn-based production company celebrated for its innovative theatrical works that merge circus, dance, and magic. Their past productions include Beyond Babel, Reflex, and Stars Above, and they’ve earned multiple Drama Desk nominations and praise from The New York Times as “outstanding and irresistible.”
Aspen Advance Look reflects the Wheeler Opera House’s commitment to nurturing artistic innovation by serving as an incubator for emerging performance, offering creators the time, space, and support to explore, refine, and connect with audiences in real time.
