Ushers play a crucial role in the Front of House operations of the Wheeler Opera House. We’re always looking for friendly volunteers to help us welcome diverse audiences to the venue. Volunteering at the Wheeler Opera House is a fun and exciting way to connect with the arts in Aspen. As a Wheeler volunteer, you'll be a part of setting the stage for connections that create memories for our audiences, artists, and the greater Aspen community.

Volunteer Expectations
- Be an ambassador for the Wheeler Opera House and the City of Aspen
- Arrive prior to doors to attend our pre-show volunteer meeting
- Warmly welcome patrons and helpfully assist them to their seats
- Be attentive to the audience during the show to ensure house policies are being followed
- Readily assist in the event of an emergency evacuation
- Advocate for the Wheeler as a place where all are welcome
